You can’t drift a KA

truf

This guy knows, SR20 or nothing. KA’s are too gutless, and slow. In fact, not much besides a V8 or 2JZ is going to be any good for learning. Take it from me, I’m an…

Its true, coming from a guy that owns both an SR20DET s13 and a lame KA s13, i would know. The KA simply doesnt produce enough torque to spin the wheels. In a worst case scenario, youll need to build a KA-T before you can consider learning to drift.

all of you are fucking idiots. before i built my ka-t i rocked the shit out of a 200,000+ mile ka, welded diff, and blown coils. you can drift a stock ka just fucking fine. you should definitely learn on a stock ka before moving to more power. if you cant slide a ka you are a shitty driver, end of discussion. come to melbourne florida and i will prove it to you.

Come to DUI my sr20 will beat your KA, my SR20 is from JAPAN, where drifting started. Not MEXICO where KA’s are built. Mexico has a shitty drift scene. Plus i have a turbo. Turbos offer good throttle response and low end for keeping the tires lit up. I own both i know best.

YOU GUYS ARE MISSING THE BIG IDEA HERE

Dude watch KDF, everyone has v8’s noobs

K thanks for deleting my comment you swine. I completely agree that KA’s are great for learning and you most certainly can drift the shit out of them. You just have to not be a bitch and go balls to the wall. I see people slay at PARC in KA’s all day.

I think your comment is still there man. I own a KA, it will not drift ill post videos if you dont believe me.

na engines have better throttle repsonse. my ka-t will destroy your sr. sr’s dont have the low end torque a ka has. if you cant slide a ka you arent trying hard enough or something isnt right. i dont have a problem with sr’s, i just prefer the dual cam ka

Well obviously your KA drifts if it has a turbo, but if you switched to a sr20det you would be a lot better cause its from japan.

Also try tuning a KA and an SR on forza. Tell me which one has more torque fully built.

This is such a thrilling battle of wits.

In Atlanta, I’ve seen plenty of them drift, with drivers who understand what they’re doing… maybe Atlanta needs to had out drift lessons to people, I don’t know. It always seems like people argue over stuff I consider common sense in the ‘scene’.

The Midnight Planétarium watch was a collaboration between Van Cleef & Arpels and Christiaan van der Klaauw. The watch is made of 396 separate parts and features the six closest planets orbiting the sun in real time (Uranus and Neptune were left out because you probably won’t live long enough to see either one complete a full orbit).
